Colourfully hand painted green and pink ginger jar lamp. Stamped to the base with the makers mark, although the exact date is unknown.

The last picture shows a very similar lamp I made from a ginger jar with a missing lid a few years back. It's pictured with a Pooky lampshade 'Ruby Candy Stripe Block' 45cm straight empire. Which I think matches beautifully. I'm so glad I found another very similar base. They are pretty hard to come by.

Sold with matching, white drum lampshade. Only one lamp. The last 2 images are for comparison purposes.

Fitted with a cream twisted cord and brass BC22 bayonet switched bulb holder.

This vintage piece in near original condition and has signs of firing defects to the glaze, normal with a hand crafted item. It may show minimal traces of use to the base.
